Jack Spring
Chief of Things
Jack Spring is an award-winning director who, in 2019, became the UK’s youngest feature film director with his debut Destination: Dewsbury.
In 2020, Spring directed his first television project Life in Non League, followed by his second feature Three Day Millionaire in 2022, which peaked at #5 on Netflix in the UK. The film stars Colm Meaney, Robbie Gee, James Burrows, Lauren Foster and Jonas Armstrong.
In 2023, Spring directed another Shush project, All Town Aren’t We, a limited series chronicling Grimsby Town Football Club’s remarkable 2021–2022 season. Featuring interviews with Ryan Reynolds, Rob McElhenney, Thomas Turgoose and Lloyd Griffith, the series was released on Amazon in 2024.
Spring’s latest feature, Merry Christmas Aubrey Flint, sees him return to narrative filmmaking with a festive comedy led by an ensemble including John Bradley, Celia Imrie and Richard E. Grant. The film continues Spring’s momentum as one of the UK’s most distinctive young directors.
Andrew Pettit
Executive Producer
Andrew Pettit was a founding partner of private equity investment company Revcap in 2004 and is a member of the Revcap Investment Committee. He was formerly a Managing Director and Head of the European Real Estate Principal Transactions business at Lehman Brothers, and previously worked as a solicitor at Clifford Chance in the Property Finance Group.
Andrew holds a BA (Hons) in Law and French from the University of Sussex and a postgraduate licence in EU law from the Université Libre de Bruxelles. He joined the Shush Films team in 2021 in a non-executive capacity, bringing a significant level of commercial and strategic expertise to the company.
Andrew has served as Executive Producer on the feature film Three Day Millionaire, the limited series All Town Aren’t We, and most recently on Shush’s latest feature, Merry Christmas Aubrey Flint.
Adam Carter
Head Of Development
Adam Carter got his start in film and television helping to run the writers’ room for Steve McQueen’s anthology series Small Axe. He has worked as a Script Editor and Development Producer, frequently collaborating with producer Ruth Caleb OBE, and has contributed to a wide range of film and TV projects with both emerging and established writers and directors, including Gurinder Chadha and Terence Davies.
Adam first worked with the Shush Films team as a Development Producer on Three Day Millionaire, before joining the company full-time to work across the entire slate of projects in development. Most recently, Adam served as Associate Producer on Shush’s latest feature Merry Christmas Aubrey Flint, further cementing his role at the heart of the company’s creative and production output.
Marnie Evans
Development Assistant
Marnie Evans is a recent film production graduate with a passion for storytelling. During her academic career, she worked on multiple short films and documentaries, often taking on roles such as writer, director and producer. Her last project, The Heart of Pandemonium, received acclaim for its unique exploration into the fantasy genre earning recognition from peers and faculty. Driven by this love she is eager to assist in developing projects that resonate with audiences.
Kalli Pasqualucci
Marketing and Social Media Manager
She’s stepped away from making films whilst raising her children, but will be back soon. She is currently Shush’s social media manager.
